Since then, the show’s massive fan base is eagerly waiting for the next season. Netflix had already announced that Money Heist is going to end with the fifth season. As Money Heist 5 will be the final season, web series creator Álex Pina opened up about the release date.
Álex Pina shared some interesting new details about the final season of the web series. According to a report in DigitalSpy.com, the show creator broke his silence about the fifth season and shared hints. He revealed what will happen to Tokyo and the rest of the members of the Heist team. In a statement released by Netflix and Pina, the makers mentioned that they have spent almost a year wondering how to put the Professor aka Alvaro Morte on the ropes. Pina shared that he also wants to create situations for the characters that will be irreversible and their outlook completely.
Talking about Money Heist 5, Álex Pina revealed that the final instalment is going to be a full-on war filled season. He also mentioned that the stakes are going to be higher than ever. The Money Heist creator claimed that the upcoming season will be the most epic and grand exciting one.
Meanwhile, the production on Money Heist season five began last August. Originally, season 5 was scheduled to release in 2021, however, due to COVID-19, the production and filming had to be stalled.
